Try something REAL simple. Just trade the breakout of the first 3 min or 5 min bar. Put your stop at the other end of the range and see how far u can ride it. Take a look at aapl or rimm for the last few weeks. Try and make double the range of the first 3 min bar...sometimes it will go ten...

the old one was an AMD and the new one is an Intel. So I would say yes that was the problem. It doesnt make sense to me and it still could be that the the chip WASNT the problem. Like I said earlier im not very tech savy. Im just glad to be functioning again. thx agin guys. jimbo

Thx for all the help. The IT guys just stopped by and they have tried all of the things you guys have recommended except for another brand new machine. I even got some advice to uninstall and reinstall the software which they said they did. We are trying it again in the am with a brand new...

thx atticus. We checked iceberg and a setting that only allows you to enter one order at a time. Both were not set. Ill ask about the ethernet card. thx for your help. jimbo

Thx again. It is brand new and as far as i know it has never had another version of TT on it. We havent tried another machine on this connection yet. good idea. I know the IT guys have looked at the cpus usage...but i dont know what the determined. unfortunately, I am not very tech savy...

thx...first we tried it on the old machine that did not meet specs (but works great for ver 6). Then we tried it on a new machine that totally exceeds specs. Even the TT rep is stuck on this one and hes been out twice and has witnessed the problem as well. thx bond jim
