From CEO to pizza delivery driver

I keep this quote on my phone and have posted it a few time on ET as well. I think of it everytime people question decisions I’ve made that have resulted in failure. I try to listen and learn from their advice, but it’s hard when the people telling me stuff haven’t tried anything even...

From CEO to pizza delivery driver

You won’t get anywhere talking like this on ET. Unlike this guy who failed in business and now delivers pizza to pay the bills, I deliver pizza and used to save a ton of money that I used to start businesses and invest with. Nobody cares about that. All anybody around here cares about is that...

From CEO to pizza delivery driver

Where was it that that guy worked? He gets $7.29 an hour? I deliver pizza and only get $4.50. He has it pretty good. I have never heard of a driver getting that much anywhere. I could certainly move up to that level.

Tell me...is this really the hardest trading environment you have ever encountered???

Well I can write down my logic and how I’m going to execute it, but of course I probably don’t ever end up following it, so we’ll never know if it’s profitable. The computer of course takes me out of the situation and executes exactly what I write. I’m not saying it’s going to work...

Tell me...is this really the hardest trading environment you have ever encountered???

That way we’ll know if it’s me, the strategy, or the market. Anyways why not? FXCM has an api now that you can trade on a micro account. Each pip is only 10 cents, so you can trade real money, without risking much. It can trade 24 hours, unlike me. Why have I not been profitable? Well...

Tell me...is this really the hardest trading environment you have ever encountered???

Why do you people bash people my age for being ungrateful lazy losers who think everything is owed to us, and then turn around and bash us for losing money trading? You think success is achieved while not first learning how to fail? You guys are just perpetual bashers. You feed on it. You were...

Tell me...is this really the hardest trading environment you have ever encountered???

I started trading a few years ago. I guess I’m one of those guys in their 20’s who you guys like to rip. To sum it up quickly, I have never been profitable, but I don’t think it was the market’s fault. In my experience, it’s not so much is the market hard to trade, but what markets are...

Jon Stewart Just Crucified Cramer & CNBC

So you’re bashing someone for making a call in the past, based on what happened in the future? Why don’t you show us all your trading account? I wonder whose is bigger, yours or Cramer’s? Nobody can critisize Stewart for making bad calls because he hasn’t done anything. All he...

Jon Stewart Just Crucified Cramer & CNBC

It is not the critic who counts. Nor the one who points out how the strong man stumbles or the doer of deeds could have done better. I don’t really listen to Cramer much. But I’m really getting sick of people responsible for nothing running their mouth into a microphone and thinking they...

Jim Cramer Uses CNBC to Manipulate Stocks

I have read Confessions and Maier’s book. I thought Confessions was a great read, especially about the time in 1998 when his hedge fund almost blew up. He made no attempt to hide his manipulation of people for gain. He seemed to almost boast about it. He also made no attempt to cover up his...

    Hedging Only

OK well let’s just forget about the account statements and talk about strategy. I don’t see how you can make money hedging, so what are you doing?

    Hedging Only

OK nobody cares about your account statement. I opened a FXCM micro account and they gave me $25. In a month I have turned it into $600. Doesn’t make me an investing genius. Please explain what you’re doing so that we can comment on it.

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

Who are you talking to? I am assuming it's me. I am 90% blind in one eye, and have had 2 surgery’s and need one more, if it makes you feel better. Your screen name tells me everything I need to know about you. You should fit in well around here.

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

Ok I’ve spent too much time on this and have other things to do. So we’ll solve this one simple way. If I lose, I’ll admit I’m a lazy scum of the earth, ungrateful, whiny, person who doesn’t have anything because he simply won’t work for it. I am opening this up to everybody on ET...

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

Well your post was very well thought out. The whole point of capitalism is just what you say above, equal amounts of labor buy unequal amounts of goods. That is a good thing. However I don’t believe that people are dissapointed, like you say, because their labor does not buy more and more...

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

I’ve read some of your posts and from what I gathered you went the traditional route. Went to college and now are starting it in you entry level job and trying to move up. That is very good of you. I went to school for 2 semesters and dropped out because I didn’t want to take out loans. I...

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

Again you are really missing the point here. Do you really think people are hurting now because of their cell phone bill’s? You missed the whole point of that post. I listed every “luxury” I pay on a monthly basis and all of it put together was equal to just over half of just my health...

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

Think about what you’re saying. You’re deligitimizing issues raised on this thread by telling people, well at least they have it better than someone in Cambodia. What kind of argument is that? Are you a lawyer? Cause if a lawyer used stupid logic like that they would lose every case...

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

All I know is when I first went to community college, the only thing I qualified for was a one time $1000 scholarship. I didn’t get anything else. What Forextrades said is interesting because a month ago I went to a career training school to see what they offered and I filled out the Fafsa and...

Even with inflation in 1970. It only took 1 worker

Ok I have some experience with this. My mom never worked. My dad had his own carpentry/home improvement business for over 20 years. He did very good work and always worked 50+ hours a week. He had good customers and never went without work. I can say that we struggled. We went without health...
