Don't see how you become rational hoarding gold. Even if it works, you're a jerk.

I'm with Paul Tudor Jones, who believes that every asset has its time and place, and right now it could be gold's time. Or not. But essentially I don't care as I'm a trendfollower.

Buffett should keep cheerleading the economy. "Confidence is the cheapest stimulus."

When people feel like spending they spend (and borrow) like crazy despite dire warnings from their older, wiser kinsfolk. Now they're being TOLD to spend and they don't want to; go figure. BTW Buffet is rich because he went heavily long stocks and bought pullbacks starting in 1950, the start...

Anybody Trade from Monaco's Monte Carlo ?

The 0% personal income tax rate is Monaco's raison d'etre. Without that, no one would bother living there. Unfortunately to be resident in Monaco for tax purposes you need to live within the principality's borders, i.e. pay the expensive rents.

Big trouble brewing, them 30 year treasuries and not selling that well.

No, asset prices will FALL, along with GDP. What will shoot up are the prices of raw materials. Why? Not because of demand, but because during the boom years, no one can be bothered to invest in production and exploration. It's too dull. That's classic deflation.

Anybody Trade from Monaco's Monte Carlo ?

I've heard that native Monegasques are a mere 20% of the population, and most of them are in social housing due to the price of real estate being forced up by foreign demand. However, they are very well looked after with W European style welfare, free healthcare etc. Curiously, Monaco is...

It's possible in the modern world. Even fun. Meet the man who lives without money.

There's a huge difference between living on little money and no money whatsoever. This guy is writing the book to get into the former category.

    Jeffrey Epstein...

The laws on consent need to be changed so that the issue becomes whether or not sexual activity was consensual, not the exact age of the younger participant. I think any girl over the age of 12 knows whether or not she wants to have sex. If coercion is involved it's a crime - otherwise it isn't.
