there are not so much brokers around with all the goodies that IB offers. the charting is not in that list. so dont cry around like children and buy some charting package. If you cant afford one, go working as waitress or taxi driver, its better for you.

is your account a margin account or a cash account? if its a cash account you cant trade on margin. (in that case you need to change that in account configuration)

well the ping time depends from where you trade so if a broker has 1 microsecond ping time, from where to where???? i trade from italy with IB and i have also about 30ms to the server in ZUG switzerland. and that is a perfect ping time for normal users.
