Does anyone know how ARCA will change the way it routes orders once Supermontage rolls out? In addition,does anyone know what Supermontage will do if you place a bid below the offer or an offer above the bid?

But Nasdaq you can short on a downtick after the close or before the open at a price lower or higher from the close?

In addition,SIZE will also allow MM's to use the reserve size feature.Sometimes i wonder why MM's use their identifier and SIZE(once Supermontage rolls out)to place bids and offers,when ISLD and INCA rebate more than Nasdaq for providing liquidity.Anyone?

It looks like Level 2 will be exactly the same,except now the Level 2 will have an additional participant known as SIZE.If you have the totalview feature,this is an example of what you might see according to the Nasdaq website...http://nasdaqtrader.com/trader/hottopics/mdd/totalviewdisp.pdf

If the stock closed at say 50,and it was an uptick,you can short the next day's open at 50 or higher.If 50 was a downtick,you can short the next day's open at 50.01 or higher.And also since the short sale rule doesn't apply in premarket or after hours trading,you can short through an ECN.

It would be funny if like 90% or more of the Nasdaq volume one day all goes to INCA and ARCA after both of their mergers are complete.Sure would make Nasdaq mad after all the money they spent on Supermontage.

So at your firm using this EDAT software,will one's bid or offer show up on Level 2 under INCA?

So if one has access to EDAT software,but not an INCA terminal,i assume you can still have direct access to INCA,and if so,will one's bid or offer show up on Level 2 under INCA? Will you also have the ability to place reserve orders?
