i should not get involved but i was a m/m and floor broker on the cboe in the oex for years... i was able to learn a lot...i worked for firms and was independent for years... what i did learn was humility and people like riskfree here are whiny little pricks...i should be above name...

rhino... i tend to get out too quick as i have been beat up lately.... i have found that max profit is usually between 08:40 and 08:55 cst... however you do need staying power to hold on... the thing is you must...must...keep good records of all your trades...

exits are completely manual...others than manually placed stops for me....i use the stops only when i can't watch all the activity... time...experience......only then will you feel comfortable with your exits.... kinda like a roller coaster...first time...wow....after a while you can ride...
