By my reckoning there is a new trade BUY @1264.50 s/l 1261.50...not that I would be in it asI was stopped earlier.

There was BUY@1373.00 at 8.29 est, which was promptly stopped out at 1370.00. Finished for the day on this exercise.

It seems to me that automating the "hard 10 theory" should be fairly straight forward once one has settled with the initial entry point. Reaction high/lows is another issue....not that I know, but would not there be conflicts between trading the hard 10 theory and looming reaction high/lows...

I know what you mean, however I was trying to follow Jagmot's "hard 10 rule"...personally I would have stopped after the first stop loss for the day.

I think the next trade would to go LONG@ 88.50 s/l 85.50 ; if you didn't stop after the last stop loss.

Sufferrrrrinnnn catfish!!! Knock out at 83.25.....time for a up of tea:p

I would have to see an 86.00 to confirm the buy... Given it hits my "trade" would be BUY @86.25 s/l 83.25...SELL @96.25. Should it hit 89.25 I would be inclined to adjust the stop to 86.25. If it rolls back would be square on the exercise.

Nice hit...Sold@1304.00 Bought @1294.00 Incidently, Jagmot I think the max. consecutive losses stand @ 2.

    Something fishy with Goldman Sachs?

I own, or short , very few equities and GS is on of them. Currently short, for technical reasons ,but "supported" by fundamental reasons as their weakness, as a corporation, is that they are not immune to the financial debacle regardless as to how well they trade internally. Their core...

Spanish , your last download indicated your were using "virtual money"....I am a bit slow, but does that mean your not using real money?

Again I would be basically square as hit 1297.50...adjusted s/l to 1300.50 ...got hit = flat.

    Rule of 10 Journal

Yeah, I wondering that too...I took the view that Jagmot was tking trades from high/lw +/- 10 , which in this instance would have yielded an 8 point profit and then reversed @ 1300.50. I could be wrong, so maybe he can clear that up.

    Rule of 10 Journal

    Short @1300.50 s/l 1303.50

    Rule of 10 Journal

    My mistake.....should read SELL @ 1300.50 s/l 1303.50...low currently 1290.50
  19. N

    Rule of 10 Journal

Looks though my next trade would be a SELL@1301.50 s/l1304.50 as low is currently 1291.50.

    Rule of 10 Journal

In all honesty, I would now be evens on this trade as it spiked to 95.50 ...would adjust my s/l to 92.50 as i could not not, in all good consciousness, watch my "profit' turn into a loss at 89.50. I got knocked out at 92.50.....if turns around ...great..there will be another trade....might...
