Is this what trading is like?

On my broker (IG), 1 lot of EUR/USD requires $2,366 of margin (50:1 leverage) and will move by $1usd for every 0.00001 of price movement.

I think I agree with you. But can you type the sentence more clearly so I can be sure I understand? Also, remember that core PCE inflation data is this Friday.

Finding something interesting would lead a person to study it.

Is this what trading is like?

Ok. But I certainly can't close the entire position at a SL that's closer to the price than the margin call. Remember that my margin calls are not 100% of the trade. More like 4%.

You're wrong about the FA part. That's all I'm using. Everybody is expecting USD to rise this year, not just me. The only TA I'm using is looking at previous highs and lows.

Ok. Well I hit both my TP's today and my Account is up 15% in two weeks.

Is this what trading is like?

If I'm making an educated guess of 1.16 by October... It's not going to go down in a straight line. There will be bad days. Putting SL's at 1% won't help me here. Unless there's something that I'm missing? Cause I think "position trading" like this you just have to watch closely. I'll listen to...

Is this what trading is like?

It was 2 trades that I could sell parts of without selling the whole trade. And it's currently up over 9% now. The more I limit the drawdown... The more I also limit the upside.

Is this what trading is like?

I don't think 1% SL's can work for swing trades. And I sized my account based on an amount that I could "afford to lose." It's not like my Fx account is 100% of my net worth. And it's 50:1. Forex because I find them most interesting as opposed to indices or commodities.

What would you suggest? I currently have 77% of equity used in trades.

Is this what trading is like?

I'm long USD against both EUR and CHF. At market open Monday, it had gapped down significantly in my favor. But then started going in opposite direction. I took this as a buying opportunity and add 0.55 lots against the EUR. Well it kept going the wrong way and I had margin calls and had to...

    Inflation, Deflation, Stagflation...

It hasn't started yet. There will be major shockwaves if the Core PCE numbers on Friday are significantly higher than expected.

How To Invest In Yourself - ROBERT KIYOSAKI - Rich Dad, Poor Dad - London Real

Whether or not your house in an asset... You NEED to live somewhere. Might as well pay a mortgage instead of rent. You can build equity and even take out a HELOC. No sense in not owning a house if you can.

    Legal online sports betting platform

Not sure which category is best for this. I want to bet on Ben Askren against Jake Paul in their boxing match. I live in Florida. I know it's legal to use offshore gambling platforms. Does anyone know where I can place this wager online?

What's a good strategy for locking in gains?

For example, if I sold the EUR/USD thinking that it will be significantly lower in 7 months... Obviously, it won't go down in a straight line even if I'm correct. So what's the best strategy for periodically locking in gains and then re-entering the trade?

    I'm in disbelief about USD

The drivers of central banks is easy. They desire full employment and target 2% inflation rate. They're like a broken record telling you this. Other central banks may have slightly different variables, but the idea is the same... Assuming it's an honest institution in that country. If you want...
