this is not the worst thing about trading, but it annoys me when people in my office bitch, moan, whine, and complain about every trade that they're in or that they miss. these people like to point the finger at anything else, without realizing that it's there own ineptitude.

It seems as though many nasdaq traders are attempting to switch over to listed trading these days. I've been trading listed stocks successfully and consistently for years. I don't know the Nasdaq game, and don't have any desire to learn it. Is trading Nasdaq not working very well lately?

i usually always use a mental stop which i am very disciplined with. i'll set a stop where i see support or resistance... no specific amount away. however, sometimes when i'm having a frustrating day, i'll send an actual stop order and then walk away because i'm sick of watching losing...

every time i enter a stop and walk away from my desk hoping i don't get stopped out, i always get stopped out. when i get that feeling to enter the stop and leave, i should just get out of my position immediately.

rs7, you sound as though you may condone the course of action his boss took. apparantly he had not closed his account yet, if he was still allowed to place trades. it sounds as though he probably violated rules or went against what his boss told him to do, however, that is absolutely no excuse...

I would be outraged if anyone hit me, let alone my boss. Were there any witnesses?
