I was too late on the edit button above :) I wanted to add that as a learning practitioner myself, if anyone feels my logic is faulty, please note it so I may correct it :) Have a nice evening

    Iterative Refinement

Nice post Jander, I will share my thoughts on the topic of laterals using P/V with limited skills developing in T/S and DOM toolsets here (i.e.primary use of Course/Medium tools). As one becomes more comfortable anticipating and 'see'ing laterals forming and knowing that they are...

    Iterative Refinement

I saw this lateral as a non-dominant retrace of a forming CO channel from the close yesterday. The BO was PT3. I may be alone in this view, but it is how I annotated and saw the morning unfold. I saw this as a VE of the PT3 channel formed. The bar that peeked its head out then ducked...

Oh, I see. That is actually my 3rd traverse (as I have counted them today) of 5.

    Iterative Refinement

I am not sure to which traverse you refer. Perhaps if you point out the area in question we can have a bit of dialog.

My view of the day (ES).

    Iterative Refinement

I observe 5 traverses on the day within a "Super Channel". While the LM is not considered a "traverse" I do have a PT3 channel formed by the BO @ 11:50AM ET. Which was fanned @1:25PM ET and fanned again @ 2:50PM ET.

Small time Daytraders - what is a good return?

Hi ninety, IMHO, It makes sense to look at what the market offers. This can be measured by the range (i.e. daily ATR) of the instrument being traded. The trader should continually focus on improving his/her skill, experience, and knowledge while using the baseline of the daily range. As...

Doing virutal or actual trading could damage human brains?

As you mention, unfortunately, the site is pretty sparse with related information and I struggled to find a suitable home (given the current topics) for a new post on inquiry into these important topics. I agree with the high importance of the 4 cornerstones mentioned (knowing the mind...

Are there indicators that help spot breakouts?

You are correct, I missed your point. Thank you for clarifying your opinion on the matter.

Are there indicators that help spot breakouts?

The links were posted in response to anothers request. I don't follow your suggestion of humor  Other than to postulate, by your response, you will never require the use of a fine level indicator such as STR/SQU ?

Doing virutal or actual trading could damage human brains?

Jack, you have spoken briefly regarding Trading Plans and Business Plans and their importance. I was wondering if you would elaborate on them. In particular, what comprises a solid TP/BP, how are they constructed, how are they maintained and kept current, adjusted, etc... Any insight would be...

    Iterative Refinement

Take another look at Jokari; For a P that is Decreasing when V is Increasing then P will be ___________________ and then apply it to the following bar: For a P that is Increasing when V is Decreasing then P will be ___________________ EDIT: Sorry my post got cut off... added the rest:
