Well I think your chart looks excellent as I study it. The biggest problem I am having is nailing down the nomenclature. In your chart I see the tapes annotated (thin gray lines). and I also see the channels annotated (P1,2,3's) So the traverses would be considered the fractal between...

lol, We continue our journey every day. :) After debriefing (and a little head banging myself) I would concur with your first selection. But if we operate within the IT channel (orange) then it does not seem inappropriate to consider a hybrid of 2 traverses (pink, green) within an IT...

After further review, I agree. As long as we can agree about the definition of trend :) Can we get an authority in here? :D

So if we choose to go this route, what do we have? X traverses and Y channels (Solve for X and Y) :)

Actually, I now that I study this chart more I am thinking that down channel has not yet been completed! (i.e. more fanning to come...see chart) P.S. Just kicking around some dialog with you folks while my daughter sits next to me and drips her popsicle all over my shorts :D
