I have always been fascinated by Tesla. He supposedly had an eidetic memory and could memorize full works. He also would "build" his inventions mentally, not relying on notes/drawings. Apparently he could visualize all dimensions of his projects...

I have not yet read it, but I have been meaning to. I just want to clarify to the readers of this thread that I am not advocating drug use. It is not about getting "high" or "escaping reality", but more about exploring parts of the mind not easily accessible in other ways. Meditation alone...

Yes, there have been several trials with MDMA for PTSD. We have even had a clinical trial in my country at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. As far as I know, the results have been very promising. The effect of MDMA allows one to process painful memories otherwise too...
