How can 100% condo ownership help me?

well, the guy lives in the area already and has health problems. The best solution it seems would be for him to get a gov. position where he would not have to relocate and have a very good health care benefits.

How can 100% condo ownership help me?

I have never worked for the federal government so I cannot comment as to what are the chances of obtaining a job through the site. However, I am familiar with hiring process for state and city agencies and if you think you can get a job for a friend then you are mistaken. Most of the time there...

How can 100% condo ownership help me?

My advice: 1. get off sugar and salt. Do not completely eliminate it but try to avoid it as much as yo can. 2. Try to get a government job. Living in DC this should be easier than in other places. Try this site first: http://www.usajobs.opm.gov/ 3. Be careful with trading for a...

    Trader P/L 2008

Last day of the year, it was slow but in the end+ $6K to my account. All together, for the 2008 year, I made 168K plus 22K for the taxes (hope it is enough). I think thanks are called for. So my sincere thank you to all of you on ET, especially AustinP, Saliva, Lescor, T28, and many many more...

    Pictures of your trading stations

Looks similar to mine except I have a bigger table and more sturdy chair. Well, ...not really but I have witnessed major money being extracted from the markets using trading stations of similar fashion. :D :D :D

    Characteristics of a Successful Trader

Trading well is more fun than owning a Ferrari to those who have yet to trade well. Trading well is boring. There is nothing exciting about it. You feel good knowing that today you have outsmarted 98% of other payers in the market. The difference is you make more and you have the freedom...

    Characteristics of a Successful Trader

To all those who enjoy trading and are doing it for the love of trading whatever that means: life is not about collecting stuff but it is neither about collecting numbers in your broker's, savings, 401K accounts living a paranoid life hoping for the weekend to end so they can jump in and TRADE...

    Characteristics of a Successful Trader

That is what I call a wasted life. He could have done so much, yet chose to concentrate on .... getting a lunch special. I bet his offspring did enjoy the windfall and laughed all the way to the Ferrari dealership, while his only experience in life was the taste of a cheap chinese food takeout...

    Your Total in 2008

Ok guys, time to shine. How much did you manage to keep/make/hoard/take from the markets in 2008? My take = 168K. Much, much more than I expected and most of it came after August. Goal for 2009..... to be able to keep the 168K and stay humble and disciplined. OK who is next? :D :D :D

You daytrade because making money without hard work is too good for you?

I daytrade because the rewards are much higher than working for someone else. The most one can hope for is getting $500 a day these days. If I could find a gig that would allow me to take 4K a day without a boss and ass licking then I would take it. Since no such animal exist I daytrade.

Can anyone reflect on taking college psychology or behavioral finance for trading?

That you and the rest of the male straight class wanted to do her. and somehow connect it with your mother and penis envy. As you can see my philosophy professor was also good looking and hence my limited knowledge on the subject. Those breasts ...... on ther other side..... :D

thanks for clearing that up. Driving a 20 year old air bagless car is stupid, driving a Ferrari is overspending and purring around in Lexus is Ok (for people who make <20K/month that is). You guys got me thinking that you are a bunch of cheapos driving beat up cars and eating out the cheapest...

Too broke to get a divorce?

I guess we all want it to work and dismiss all the flaws that later become so visible and in the end make people go their separate ways.

Too broke to get a divorce?

People generally do not change, it is our inability to see the real person that changes. There is a reason for saying "love is blind".

    Characteristics of a Successful Trader

The question is, is that the right way? To this day I remember an old couple we met in South Pacific. They stayed in a 5 star deluxe hotel and were having their dream vacation. They were well off and enjoyed the stay, but he was 76 and she was 72. Now wouldn't they enjoyed it so much more...
