Onyx does look good and has decent functionality (more then jtrader) but unfortunately it doesn't run worth a damn on my pc's. The app constantly crashes.

How about just keeping TWS online for starters.

Get rid of the charts all together or at least offer a version of TWS that is lean and mean. I use to think TWS required to much memory back in the 30mb's of memory days, now it's way over the top. If you run TWS with a few other app's you need a friggin Cray for everything to run smoothly...

Unfortunately this is the end of the line for me with jtrader. Their new software is a major resource hog and reflector is junk. It's hard to understand the thinking that goes into this type of software developement. Honestly, get a clue and listen to what traders have to say.

VBA would be much more efficient since each line doesn't need to be interpreted. Would probably offer more flexibility too.

I've used both on and off for a while and never had a problem. Have you heard of others experiencing the problems you mentioned? What OS? Any odd config issues? How does your system handle prime95? What type of memory?

Not using it but thinking about opening an acct to try it. Not sure what markets it supports. From the looks of their online demo there aren't many options (just ES, NQ). If anyone else is using it I'd like to hear their feed back.

When you learn to trade, what you trade doesn't matter. A good ES trader could teach you how to trade the bonds. Hint - good trading doesn't include the CCI imo.

Slim, the Livermore book was an interesting read and he wasn't cautious at all. Thought it was funny how in 1907 the NYSE passed a rule that wouldn't allow traders to trade off news events due to one of the bear raids. Too funny.

Check out RCG's ONYX platform. Not too bad. Hyrid of jtrader and bracket trader. I'll never understand why jtrader didn't add simple features like this.
