    1929 vs 1987 vs 2018

Whoa, sorry guys, when I said looks like a buying opportunity based on that chart I was looking on my phone and didn't see the 2018 ended only about a third of the way down the big drop. Definitely not a bullish looking comparison!

What has changed since 2008 that caused veteran hedge fund managers to underperform and close shop?

    Option selling for premium

Thanks Kim. So in an example where you sell an option for $3, take $2 of those to buy a different option. Both expire worthless. What would the % gain be listed as? Its just weird because you didnt really come out of pocket anything. Thanks.

So it looks like we breached the Feb. lows on both DOW and S&P

, but not yet seemingly on the NASDAQ and Russell 2000. Does breaching it on the DOW and S&P mean the support should be gone? Or that happens only if we breach on other two (or something else?)? Once that support goes, I've seen several of you say there is not support for a loooong way...

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Haha classic. In my heart I just cant believe, with what has been such strong economic data coming out, and seemingly likely to get better, this is the start of the next bear market. Just don't think earnings have peaked or are really close to peaking. But, I know, you always see that stuff...
