Any one know Alex Elder personally?

Perhaps fulltime not means 8h00 for for him but 20H :D . In that case he must have a comprehensive wife. Personally I wouldn't bother if a day lasted a week I am always too busy. It is said that a human can genetically live 130 years, gee it's not even enough for me to experiment all my ideas :D

Anyone Care to Explain Today's Rally? :)

Having a react mentality is not antinomic with anticipation. A great footballer said for example that what makes him different from other average footballers is his anticipation ability. Anticipation is prepation BEFORE market's opening whereas REACTION phase is during market's session...

    System / Setup Design process

    >I'm not entirely disagreeing with you here, Harry. So do I with you Biomech :) >Ideally one would understand exactly why their system is >successful. Yes ideally. Ideal can never be reached all the time, but it doesn't mean that you must not try to reach it, not at any price but by...

Anyone Care to Explain Today's Rally? :)

GRASSROOTS EFFORT to take on the SEC (esp. read if you are sick of the SEC)

That's would be logical since they are the majority of operators counting for 95% (in France in US it should be less ) : does it mean that the minority can eat so much of their apple pie :D

    Poker and the Beginning Trader

Really I prefer 100 times trading to poker, I really don't see any thrill in this game of "aggression, bluffing, semi-bluffing" "Poker demands many skills and strategies. To be successful, you must be able to master all of them and then apply them at the appropriate times. They include proper...

Marketbrowser can almost exactly do that. You can put MSFT and Dow Jones one above the other then copy both data into excel it's only a matter of seconds you then add a difference formula.

    System / Setup Design process

I have talked of Robustness. Robustness is the key in Science and Engineering. You are not obliged to "design" a system, you can just build a system by empirism (experience) without "designing" in the sense without thinking before acting. In fact humanity and our brain has always acted before...

    System / Setup Design process

You're wrong it is not only a question of academic : it's also a question of knowing if you're trading with a ROBUST system or not. You can have the impression that your system works because of some patterns whereas in fact it was because of a context you didn't see (a context is something...

GRASSROOTS EFFORT to take on the SEC (esp. read if you are sick of the SEC)

And why not forbid casino then ? 25K is not a lot of money for you and for me or others and I even said that for daily scale it is not enough. But for others it can be a lot of money and sorry A GOOD TRADER CAN BEGIN EVEN WITH LESS THAN 25K if he chose the right scale and right market. Imagine...

GRASSROOTS EFFORT to take on the SEC (esp. read if you are sick of the SEC)

It's not being cynical it's just being realistic :) If you want to be really efficient to change I think you'll have to find some genious ideas I don't know what but it's like David and Goliath. You know I'm for David so I encourage you to do so. Nevertheless if you have to keep your energy for...

GRASSROOTS EFFORT to take on the SEC (esp. read if you are sick of the SEC)

Higher fees, higher account, higher margin call, higher speed, higher taxes : prepare for that or you will be washed out like some french floor traders who didn't expect it. If you are swinger you won't feel too much affected but if you are scalper the difference can be huge.
