Just wait for momentum combined with a decent percentage of traders to get trapped in a position, and go with the herd. Doesn't happen everyday. Not everyday has opportunity. Wish there was. That's why they say patience is a virtue. Sucks watching a screen most of the day and doing nothing.

If I had to guess, I would say yesterday was more a distribution day more so than shorts starting new positions. Any shorts that did start positions were probably squeezed out on yesterday afternoons move. The problem then is, that a 10 point gap up today doesn't leave room for a short...

These guys don't have stops. They are permalongs buying each dip until they get a gap down that doesn't push back up and wipes out their entire account

The issue is not really liquidity, its more of where we are at in relation to the overall trend. Pull up a daily, and look at the trend. We are in the 'pullback' area after 7 straight bullish days. How does a market pullback in a strong trend ? It USUALLY pulls back rather weakly...
