...And They Have a Plan. (Live.)

I personally design systems around a more slow, methodical, controlled market. Once or twice a year you have these crazy moves pre market that send the market haywire. Beginning a swing trade right after news in a toppy market (and I say toppy bc volatility was picking up near the highs pre...

For profitable traders only...how much is your strategy worth?

Or maybe your brain isn't really functioning that good in the first place ? If I sell my strategy, then I'm competing with somebody else for the exact same fills that I need. If I'm already trading size, that can pose many problems.

    Bitcoin is dead...

Considering most economists, traders, and financial institutions all saw the pump and dump nature of Bitcoin, what is so unbelievable about it ?

Is there a way to foresee a slow/choppy session?

OP, look at that 1 minute chart of the NQ. I traded it this morning like you did. That 9:37am(eastern time) up bar had way too much volume. But that bar alone can't be used to disqualify the pullback. Look at the 9:38 and 9:39 bars. While the volume was decreasing at 938 and 939, the ranges...

    Volatility Trading Strategy

Sell the strategy right when you think the strategy is no longer profitable due to changes in sentiment and volatility. Good idea OP.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

For what it’s worth, my outlook over the next few months is bullish enough to get close to retesting the highs based upon the monthly charts. I think the shorts need to be squeezed more. I don’t think we are falling off a cliff for quite a while. Just my 2 cents.

    NQ, seriously?

Enjoy the big move. That’s what differentiates the NQ from other indexes.

    Is scalping still profitable?

I have no interest in arguing. Just related a story of someone that got me into trading and u act as if i'm telling lies. We are no longer in touch as we had a falling out years ago but I doubt he's still trading much these days. He wasn't a perfect trader but he made $ and always traded big...

I see no political bias. All I see are facts and obvious trends of trumps personality about how he takes victory and defeat.

    Is scalping still profitable?

You let an NQ trade go 950 points against you and you are talking to me about magical mystical numbers ? Anybody see the irony in this ?

    Is scalping still profitable?

A quick story, My family would rent out our beach house most summers. Every year we had the same tenant renting it for 6 weeks out of the summer. I ended up getting curious and asking him what he did for a living that allowed him the luxury of vacationing for 6 weeks. His bread and butter...

    Is scalping still profitable?

Ive yet to come across any books or resources online (that are free) that provide you with a good enough scalping education to really understand the way price moves. Primarily the “why it moves the way it does”. Once u get the why out of the way, it’s easier to send someone off on their own to...

    Feeling of regret in trading

Sounds like you treat trading like gambling, hence you get gambling like returns. Why don't you trade for like 30-45 minutes and quit no matter what ?
