I guess the obvious question is who is the next prop llc the SEC sets their crosshairs on?

    Off-shore Banking Question..

The only way to reap returns offshore and legally not report them to the IRS is to marry a citizen of another country. Move to a tax heaven country. Put account into her(or his) name. And hope your spouse does not rip you off. Probably easier to just pay the damn tax.

    PDT Rule & Prop Firms

After reading the Gov. charges against Tuco I believe that this is a shot accross the bow of the entire prop industry-registered BD or not. The SEC maintains that All deposits into firm accounts are to be viewed as "retail" and the relationship is that of a broker to a client/customer,thus...

    The latest on tuco?

If indeed the Gov. strong-armed Elite to delete the Tuco thread than we need to immediately move to challange this in court. The Chinese Gov would blush with admiration on this.

    The latest on tuco?

This is really odd. I am beginning to sense gov censorship. Could it be thaat Chris Cox of the SEC sent a goon squad to convince Elitetrader to shut this down?

    SEC coming down

The SEC tried to clamp-down and regulate Hedge Funds in the early 2000's, but were beaten back by an army of astitute attorneys. The difference between hedge-funds then and Prop LLC's now is that prop-firms do not have the same war-chest. You can bet that the major brokerages and hedge-funds...

    Oil War In South Americ

I think that this is a test for the powers that be in South America, namely, Brazil and Peru. I do not believe that they will tolerate a mad-man form Venezuela creating war and havoc in the continent

    Fair tax

Let me clairfy. I am not talking about tax evasion or avoidance. I am just challanging the inherent inequality of the current progressive income tax and how many citizens(and corporations) derive special rights and privegles(subsidies) at the expense of others who are not so fortunate. To me...

    Fair tax

Quote from futures shark "mandate from whom? if there is no written law then there is nothing to be tried in a court of law." The equal protection clause of the US constitution.

    Fair tax

I understand the equal protection clause to be an all encompassing mandate-to which all law must comply.

    Fair tax

I am right in the middle of reading "Fairtax The Truth" and a question struck me:has there ever been a legitimate court challenge to the progressive income tax from the standpoint of denial of equal protection under the law? We know that current tax code is riddled with many different...

Figured out how to defend the dollar

The best thing we can do as a country to restore respect and value to the dollar is to adopt the Fair Tax. http://www.fairtax.org

    tradestation comments

I do admit that customer service with tradestation can be a little weak, but the limitless functionality of radarscreen is hard to beat. Also, TS charting is second to none.
