"Cash Is Trash" Mentality Moving The Markets

This is nothing new. Our equity market has been "liquidity-driven" for quite some time. Furthermore, the Bears that are looking for a RECESSION appear to be WRONG once again. Today's Univ. of Michigan Sentiment report at 98.0 would indicate that. Combine that with much lower crude and...

    form CFTC-40

What seems to be so difficult to understand about this form? On Page #2, it states that: "Every person who holds or controls a reportable position must file a CFTC Form 40, Statement of Reporting Trader." Obviously, it depends on whether or not you are trading commodity or financial...

    Elliott Wave Suggests 1445 Target

A running corrective phase (wave 4) has unfolded for the past 5 weeks suggesting that the bottom of wave four was completed at the 1403.97 level on January 8th. This suggests that the next sequence will unfold in a similar length of wave 1, which was approximately 57 points in length. This...

Oil & OIH, What's Your Take?

Depends on the sector. Take a look at the nat-gas drillers. Stocks like PTEN have built a decent little "base" recently and could easily rally a few points here. They have a huge correlation with CRUDE oil movement . . . even more so than Nat-Gas itself. Good trading vehicles. :)

s&p just made intermediate term top @ 1431.8

Got very close, but didn't get there. The Futures caught a nice little "squeeze" into the close though. Have a nice weekend everybody! :)

Your number could go heading into today's close. 1421.33 so far . . . with 20 minutes to go. :)

    Trade The News

Just look at the CONTENT of ET lately . . . It's been deteriorating for quite some time. It's all about creating "web-hits" to show to potential advertisers. Give me a break.

POLL: How much time do you spend on ET per day?

If it wasn't for these polls, ET would be close to "dead". :(

    Nat Gas Stocks Bottoming

Looks like a nice pattern for a good "pop" to the upside. PTEN, NBR, etc.

Crude Oil Market Analysis (1/9/07 Updated)

A $1.30 cent "stop-loss" is too large on Crude Oil? That's less than 3%.

None of these areas (geo-political) are bullish

Does ET pay you to post threads. Or do you simply have nothing better to do on your Saturday's? :(

POLL: How much time do you spend on ET per day?

I seriously don't spend anything more than 5-10 minutes per day on ET. The quality of posts have become absurd over the past 12 months, with the Bluestreaks of the world papering ET with ridiculous opinions, unsupported by any logic whatsoever, almost in an apparent effort to create...

    Recession Is Here Right Now!!!

The fact of the matter is that while industrial demand for oil might be slowing, crude oil and product prices have softened from the marketplaces sensitivity towards warmer weather, and the expectations for continued warm weather. The supply side of the equation shows virtually little change...

Wrong again. Try 167,000. Hardly an economy that is heading into recession.
