Weekly Poll: Entering September - The Weakest Month For Stocks

You continue to talk out of your arse and have no idea what you are talking about. Congrats!

The Ivanovich Memorial Thread - Ivan has left the building...

Baron could have chosen to CLEAN this place up years ago . . . by getting rid of Forums that have absolutely nothing to do with TRADING, such as the Politics and Religion Forum where most of ET's "trolls" and multi-user screen names literally "live". But Baron knows that such a move would...

    Ewj: elliott wave

There is just no way that I see any kind of IMPULSIVE 5-waves down from the 1129 SPX high into the 1040 lows.... I see a 3, and that's it. Prechter's "nested" 1-2's got totally BLOWN OUT of the water last week. And he's still clinging onto this action being some sort of a "2". Meanwhile...

    Black Friday

What's hilarious is the fact that you have 10,950 posts on this website, of which 99% are meaningless drivel. :D

30 year falls to another new LOW!

Once again, you show that you have NO FREAKING idea of what you are talking about.

After 5 yrs, may switch off Tradestation, cheaper alternative?

You only have to place 36 online equity trades or more, per year. You get Nasdaq Level-2 quotes if you have made 120 or more equity and options trades in the past 12 months. Not that difficult to achieve. :)

ThinkOrSwim - Real account just as slow as Demo?

I would agree. But ThinkPipes is.

After 5 yrs, may switch off Tradestation, cheaper alternative?

The problem with QT now is that (sadly) Ameritrade has decided to drop Jerry Medved's support and continued development of the platform. Not sure what their plans are for it in the future, but my guess is that Ameritrade feels that their ToS platform is where they want to put their emphasis on...

ThinkOrSwim - Real account just as slow as Demo?

I've had conversations with the "powers that be" at ToS and the latest platform version is way faster than previous versions because ToS felt that they needed to give equity traders a better data-feed. They "tweaked" their data-feed and the demand for updates of their product mix of equities...

    Schwab anyone?

The Street Smart Pro (CyberTrader) platform has a very fast data-feed. I have compared it (side by side) to the ThinkPipes professional platform offered by ToS and it keeps up tick for tick. The charts on Street Smart Pro are not as good as one finds on Quotetracker (my favorite for...

    Think or Swim data messy??

No problem. By the way, if you are on the West Coast ( like I am ) and a remote trader the Schwab Street Smart Pro quotes are really fast... (they are not "throttled" back like on the ToS platform) and moreover, you wind up connecting to the Schwab servers here in California/Arizona as...

    Thinkpipes

I'm pretty sure that it is NOT the same feed given that ThinkPipes is a professional platform used by market-makers. What I do know is that the ThinkorSwim platform feed for equities is "throttled" back in order to keep the platform stable. Also, there is a philosophy at ToS in upper...

    Think or Swim data messy??

I am primarily an equity trader that has loved using Quotetracker with the Level-1 quote feed coming from DTN's "IQ-Feed". The only problem is that DTN does not really support the equity trader all that much given that they refuse to offer Nasdaq Total View and NYSE Level-2 quotes. They say...

ToS is adding "Robotic Trading Engine"

Agreed. And I have talked to their IT people about this over the past couple of months... and in their upcoming release of 16.22 users should see a marked improvement in equity quotes and the equity feed. The Version 16.22 should be out in about a week and the equity quotes should be up to...

    Thinkpipes

The data-feed for ThinkorSwim ( in my opinion ) is just not that robust. This is contrary to Thinkpipes, which uses a much better data-feed.

Has anyone thought of going to ThinkorSwim and using their Thinkpipes professional platform??? I believe they clear Penson Financial.

    Ewj: elliott wave

I see the last several weeks as an A-B-C flat then an "X" wave (to 1209.36 on April 29th) and an A-B-C down again with 5-waves down in the C. The "B" of the flat made a new high up at 1219.80 The "orthodox" high was back on April 15th, which coincidentally happened to be a Martin Armstrong...

ABCNEWS: While Slick Spread, Interior Dept Chief of Staff Rafted with Wife on Grand C

Agreed 100% Johnny "wet his pants" Wetsink is a prime example of why this website has gone down the proverbial rat-hole.

    Ewj: elliott wave

Prechter's Steven Hochberg has been so utterly horrible in his weekly short-term updates that he is bound to be RIGHT finally. Perhaps we have an A-B-C flat that started back on April 19th with a (b) that made a new high for the move and a (c) move yesterday before Wave 5 to the upside . . ...

Arizona New World Order. "Sir are your papers in order"

30% of the residents of Arizona are American's who are of hispanic descent. Looks like the POLIZEI will have their hands full asking for ALL of their papers . . . all based off of skin-color and accent. Hear that sucking sound coming from Mexico and Latin America? That's all of the TRADE...
