sure seems that way to me. i placed 2 trades, i think they went through because of time and sales elsewhere, but nothing in my TS desktop. still in my 'portfolio', but can't cancel the trades, and their phone lines are swamped / can't connect.

most if not all retail brokers won't let you. why do it unless you're scalping, i don't think there's order flow payment on those cheapies anymore? stick to bigger stuff if you're looking @carter's book, materials, etc.

emile - how much technical analysis were you taught? because much of the program seems to show is buying from "fundamental" analysis, and for a daytrader, that's generally terrible.

echoing what has been said: fox business is ridiculously terrible. doesn't deserve to be on air. they even stated during their opening months that they didn't want people who day traded, OR people who knew things about the stock market (i think their ad mocked cnbc talking about libor)...

operator - their fills for me seem to be fast; not direct access of course but good enough.
