sorry, i didnt mean to phrase my comment in such an authoritative tone. I haven't been keeping up with the journal and I saw IF's last post so I figured people were discussing the grand importance of the style of bars one uses.

If the difference between failure and success was candles and OHLC then everybody would be a winner. It doesn't matter. Anybody who says it does is simply imposing their personal preference on an issue that is 1% relevant to trading well.

How constructive or destrutive you allow those voices to be is up to you though... This thread has had some of the best comments on "intuitive" trading that I have read here. Cheers to everybody.

Two people can take a trade at the same time on the ES, one long and one short and both can make money consistently. It may only be through watching the charts everyday for six months that you will being to form your own profitable methods. If you are not ready to commit everyday to watching...
