    I would worry about those incubator structures. One bad fund might contaminate the whole batch. In others words, one guy get a margin call on some illiquid crap and you all go down.

    Thanks sle. Right now, I am just looking to see if there is much if any liquidity in longer dated options on the 30 yr, say 6-9 mths out. The TLT ETF is providing options for these longer dated contracts, but I'm not sure if they infer them from prices on the treasury futures options or if TLT's...

    It is kinda dumb. Its a bit like a cab driver asking if the speed limit will help him attract more customers... That being said: You would need statistical information for the distribution of your trades payoffs and losses. This would effect the optimal bet size that kelly C would return...
