The problem with bitcoin is that it can be ruined by governments blocking the points where bitcoin is exchanged for traditional currency, or legitimate (IE not black market) points of sale and businesses. Kind of how they mostly killed online poker in the US by going after payment processors.

Thanks, and thanks for the input. I'll definitely give gold a close look. I'm not sure I will do it yet. It is a bit of a stretch with my schedule right now but it might work if I just shoot for only trading 2 or 3 days a week and do the 20 out of 60 days combine.

I'm thinking about trying a combine, but only time I can trade is london open. CL seems like the best option of the tradeable products. They don't allow brent trading. I considered 6e but the volatility seems better in CL. What do you think?
