I think this is your best day here on this journal? Post your blotter from today for all you see. It might be encouraging to some reading (who don't post) to know that it's possible to overcome intense fear to trade well.

why don't you explain to everyone how you were able to 'muster up the courage' to do this? Years of timid trading and then an overnight drastic change in behavior is pretty uncommon. Could be an interesting story to tell here.

You didn't mention this in your opening post, hard to give you accurate advice when you leave out these important details? :)

Ok, maybe you aren't putting these pieces together but what I am saying is you don't need to find a 'home' as in a prop firm, you can trade futures from your own home. Of course you'd need to open an account and fund it, and learn a futures mkt but you wouldn't need to 'apply' to any firms.

I don't understand WHY you have to be profitable is stocks first? Is this some arbitrary rule you came up with?

Trade futures, forget stocks. What I mean is learn futures first and then trade them :)
