"Choppy" simply means constricted range and calls for fading the edges rather than looking for retracements or trend termination (absolutely not for the inexperienced) given adequate range and reasonable risk/reward scenario. It is not an environment however for the beginner or journeyman...

I consider Bill O'Neil required reading for the casual investor. I subscribed to IBD for years...great stuff. Of course trading and especially day trading is a whole other thing. Do the work or it's one's account balance that flies South. :D

One anecdotal data point and you're drawing conclusions? That's not like you Fred lol. Here is another anecdotal data point, after the first Moderna, I felt as if I were drained of all blood for a couple of days. After the second, a sore arm for a couple of days.

No strategy "works" without understanding the dynamics of the context in which it occurs. That understanding comes with work...observation, study and testing. Most begin trading without having done that and subsequently they fail. There are no shortcuts, if there were, someone could learn to...
