    Any good option advisory services

Hell if I know if this place is even legit, but I stumbled on this site recently http://www.pro-option-profits.com/index.asp They rate option advisory services, and you can filter by just about anything, and can even simulate past performance based on your capital and % willing to risk...

    SPX Multiplier

I understand one has the cash market as the underlying, the other the futures market. My question is this. Say you are long 2 ES 1400 calls. Are you then long 2 contracts of ES at 1400, which gets settled against the cash market, making it essentially the same as SPX settlement?

    SPX Multiplier

I don't trade ES options, but if they are cash settled (quarterlies), is it safe to say that 2 ES options at 1 strike = 1 SPX option at the same strike? I know the SPX settled with the SOQ, but is it the same for the mini/big options?

"Options market pricing in a X% move on the stock"

Take this hypothetical example Say that a stock is at $21.25. A hedge fund has some inside info, that a bad announcment is coming out that the public does not know, and the stock is expected to drop a $1.25 to $20.00 Say the $20.00 call is trading at $1.75 and Say the $22.50 put is also...

    Delta and probability question

In the money options have a delta of greater than 50 At the money have a delta of 50 Out of the money have a delta is less than 50 Say the stock is at 30, and you are looking at a 30 call. The delta is going to be very near to 50, if not at 50. That means there is a 50% chance the...

    Analyze Tab on TOS

Are you talking about real time p/l on the analyze tab or are you referring to calculations at expiration? I have access to options xpress stuff, but I mainly use TOS for my option trading.

Looking for recommendation on Q's Simulator Trading Platform?

Blaze, I forget when they started but they are several years old at least. They provide customers with help, whether you are new or not. They take the time to discuss complicated trades over the phone, and they don't charge anything for phone orders. I've been to the offices once, they are...

Looking for recommendation on Q's Simulator Trading Platform?

Another recommendation for TOS here. Excellent customer service, and #1 for options. Can't say much for trading equities through them as I have only done it a handful of times. You can basically trade anything under the sun with IB, however you will not get any handholding with them.

"Options market pricing in a X% move on the stock"

Yeah, there is an "application" , also... But when I signed up for the regular insideoptions subscription, I was given a free trial to the blog, no forms or other junk to fill out. Also, he gave away a free trial to optionmonster members (membership is free) a few months back.

http://www.cboe.com/tradtool/webcast.aspx The above link is where CBOE-TV is. DRJ also has another webcast at optionmonster.com, although its basically a rehash of CBOE TV. The $500/month service is the blog at insideoptions.com . Its updated several times throughout the day.

"Options market pricing in a X% move on the stock"

Like FullyArticulate, I still believe options can predict moves in an underlying. Its not 100% accurate, thats a given, and I also said I don't trade his calls via his service anymore, because I felt the site took a shotgun approach, putting you in too many options with not enough juice. In...

    Beating the Market Makers

I've done it as well with thinkorswim, in a similar circumstance.. I lost track of time on exp. Friday.. I was long a handful of BBY calls from a leftover vertical that were in the money by over $1.50 or so, and when the closing bell on expiration rang I was sitting there astonished...

Difference between market order and removing liquidity?

This is my understanding, however it might be incorrect, I trade options mostly. Adding liquidity is when you use a limit order that doesn't execute an order. I.e. bid ask at 57/59 and you but in a limit order to buy or sell at 58. Your order doesn't hit another immediately, so it sits until...
