zecco.. increased naked puts/calls equity requirement from 50K to 250K ??

If you are referring to $250k required for even allowing you to short naked options, then that's insane. Think or Swim. $3500 minimum, no "option levels". You can fund your account on day 1, and short away. Just remember that I sent you, I want the referral :-D

Absolute Lowest Commissions Available for Options?

Agreed about option house. I would get a data feed though, because there platform is web based. If you want good customer service, and are willing to pay a little more, TOS is the way to go. You can get down to around 1.25/contract, but that might not be enough to suit your needs.

cannot believe that buffet sold a complex option ...

What is so complex about selling an SPX put, other than the fact that its a non-standard expiration.

    T&S on CL

I assume they are block trades. For example, I can trade power on Ice on the screen or through a broker. Trading through a broker, at least in power usually lets me get more contracts done with less slippage. If I want to buy 10 contracts in power, I'm going to move the market usually...

    real time options movements scanner

Actually no, I trade power for a small shop and not equities, so its not worth the subscription price for me. On the other hand, the company posts regularly on theoptionsinsider.com and also on whatstrading.com so you can kind of get a delayed glimpse on what their product offers.

Thinkorswim lets you backtest strategies and its ridiculously easy. When you load the software, its on the "thinkback" tab.

You need to buy 2 puts and 1 underlying for the synth straddle. You have a synthetic call.

Problem with the Russell is that Ice just did away with the big contracts all together, only the minis.

Watch for possible short squeeze on NOV CL

Wow, just speechless over here. Aside from your blatant disregard for industry standard month codes, good luck finding a retail place thats A-OK with you trading on the last trading day. I sure as hell wouldn't let you if I ran a shop, since you can't even tell me what month Z is.

Why go bilateral if you have the choice to clear? I assume there is some rational reason, but but it escapes my mind at this point. Also, PJM next week power 11/17-11-21, has been creeping up these last few days. Was at 65 last week, now around 70, even with gas dropping off.

Amerex just comes over with the outright names, then again, I can count the number of term deals I've done on one hand. Question about henry options on Ice : The product i'm viewing in webice is "NG Fin, FP for Pen (Equity)" , but I never see anything quoted live, only occasional block...

    Options Software

Hoadley has a ton of examples featuring all the functions it offers. For creating your own template, its not hard at all, you just have to understand how to use excel arguements (i.e. =HoadleyOptions1(arg1,arg2,arg3), and it tells exactly how to use them. You don't have to be a programmer to use...
