Crazy drop today. Loaded up on NVDA

What conference calls are you referring to with what specific comments relating to nvda... Not sure how you expect one to respond to a blanket statement. If stores are backlogged on common gpu's and consumers are forced to buy the upgraded versions of a similar GPU then this should be an...

Odey Says Governments May Make Private Gold Ownership Illegal

Lol this is closer to a conspiracy in order to inflate gold prices rather than a sensible projection. I can already see the "stonks" meme at the bottom of the article.

Crazy drop today. Loaded up on NVDA

Ouch up to a 15% drop :sneaky: I did sell at open today since it looked weak, bought back in at $358.95 with a lighter position.

    Spotify

I doubt the company has many legs other than being bought out in the near future. Most people I know do use spottily premium - we all abuse the family plan. However, there are a few programs that can transfer songs from spotify to your desktop and it is just a matter of time until these programs...

Crazy drop today. Loaded up on NVDA

I'm assuming you mean there is a low supply due to the manufacturing halt. If you believe there is a shortage of GPU's in May from factories being shut down for a few weeks in Feb then you're entitled to that opinion.

Crazy drop today. Loaded up on NVDA

I'm a breakout trader so I'm fine with buying near all time highs. Price of a stock increase from $15 to $350 isn't relevant. I'm buying a stock on a short term dip which has outperformed the market YTD and I believe it should continue to outperform around earnings + outlook. Regarding I don't...

Crazy drop today. Loaded up on NVDA

I had my assistant do inventory checks across North America and a lot of private computer shops are sold out of a lot of common nvda gpu's and a lot of consumers are forced into buying the super version of the video cards that they want or a similar upgrade. There is a serious backlog on regular...

Crazy drop today. Loaded up on NVDA

Most tech dropped considerably due to Moderna's vaccine doubts news . Facebook held up well against it from its announcement and I assumed Nvidia would hold up as well since their earnings is on Thursday. Didn't mind buying more shares as it fell at these prices. If the market is flat over the...

Facebook (FB) to compete with Shopify (SHOP)

I don't like this either for business owners - less traffic will go to the website. Great day trading day though on FB haha :D

I've paid over $60,000 in commission the last few weeks and im done

IB has cheaper rates and have tiered pricing. Couple this with leasing IOM seat you'll get good prices with your volume. I had a call with CME recently in leasing an IOM seat, they give you the answers you need. Just shoot them an email and they will setup a panel interview. It's not clear if...

An Honest Review of T3 Newsbeat Live

You're not the first to complain about that chatroom. You've stated 2 main red flags. Entering options at market and copying scalps. Being a dick and unprofessional isn't a red flag in this industry because a lot of successful traders are arrogant but can be helpful at the same time. However...

How important is the win percentage?

With proper risk management, you can be a profitable trader with a 50% per trade win ratio or less. Sometimes I hope my initial trade goes the wrong way just so I can ride the correct breakout or breakdown with ~3x the previous size.
