    ...logb(x) ...? Edit: I guess I should ask if your referring to skew or kurtosis. I believe logarithms help cure (normalize) the skewed distribution at only a minimum cost of precision.

    I know this is common desire, but I'll say it again... It'd be nice if IB considered providing a seperate service for direct connects and eliminate the need to go through the TWS. I'm seriously considering to start looking at other means.

    See, we're providing the liquidity for the "traditional boys" and each other. I personally think one ought to consider learning about programming, maths, and "mechanics" if a a big bag of shells is wanted... not to mention less stress and more free time.

    Probs I have with Eric3 is the only help docs are api generated, which is kinda useless for a ui. The other thing is, I love my auto completion and call tips.. gotta have it for "natural naming" schema. Eric only has (for python) a user's contribution that seg faults when I compile it. Too bad...

    I was taking a quick look at Kdeveloper last night. Looks pretty robust for C/C++,etc dev. CVS and other stuff all configurable, going through (360+) plugins. Lessens the bloat of what you don't need. The only caveat I think, is you need to be using a kde desk top manager. But hey, kde's...
