    Datafeed with API

I have been searching for a data feed (Futures data) that has an C++ API that i can run on a server ( Pref. Linux but Windows is OK also ) It's amazing how hard it is to find something. I've read about Nanex and they seem to have an API that i think may work and i'll contact them. Others like...

    SPY put option idea

    Just realised a mistake in the math ...obviously couldn't buy 952 options but only $1000 / ($1.05 * 100) = ~9 options So profit should be; (9 * 100) = 900 shares 900 * ($157 - $155) = $1800 profit Not quite as attractive now!

    SPY put option idea

If one thought that the SPY may drop 10% by 12/30/13, selling a put option seems to make sense. Currently bid is $1.05 for the 12/30/13 SPY Put with a strike of $157 ( about 10% lower than current trading) so for a investment of $1000 one could buy ~952 options ( $1000 / $1.05 = 952 )...

Spain's bailout request- Crash or Rally on Monday??

So much bad news coming out but the markets really are not selling off that hard. If fact we have seen a couple of nice up moves in the last few days. Maybe these are the lows unless something really unexpected happens over the weekend with Greece. I had expected the market to be selling off...

    Good charting for Forex

Many of the charting software that come as part of the FX brokers totally blows. The best i've seen of the web based ones is probably the dealbook software from GFT Forex but it's very limited. What options are there for Forex traders who want more advanced charting? Are people using...

    Evening trading

I would like to start trading in the evening PST. I normally trade the ES but there's not enough action on that after the regular session has ended. Can anyone recommend some index futures that are volatile and have good amounts of trade volume that would be active in the evening? Maybe some in...

    A/D trend breaks

I've been experimenting with a technique of trading breaks in the AD (accumulation distribution) indicator. The red and blue arrows show the entry signals. It seems to work well for me in the last few weeks. I'm finding very little or no lag in the signals, but sometimes the signal is a little...

ES/NQ scalp trading - the real holy grail

Could you post a chart showing the entry bar for each trade? It sounds like you're entering the market a couple of bars after the swing hi/lo. Just wondering where the entry/stop/exits are.

Is there any service out there that allows access to E-Mini futures price data from a web server (e.g. from a PHP server script) for free or a small fee (delayed data is fine) Thanks

    ES weekly chart. Oversold?

ES looking week again tonight. Question is when can we expect a bounce? We're at 1400 which should offer some support. Also on the weekly chart shown here looks like we're ready for a bounce also http://www.scalptrader.com/2007/08/12/the-longer-term-view-e-mini-sp-500/ Thoughts?

    Intraday reversals on E-Mini S&P 500

I agree that volume spikes can be very reliable. You have to use such a technique with care though as you can get burnt by trading possible reversal signals from spikes in a strong intraday trend. I think the article mentioned this.
