Yeah - not meaning to be a reverse racist but many Asians make for lovely ladies to date, and a higher proportion of men who are not physically agressive

    Trading from New Zealand

Im a Kiwi in Aus. I find NZers a little more sensitive, more English, and less brash than the Aussies, but that said, the winters are lovely in Aus while in NZ they can be a little cold (except way up north). The beaches north of Auckland (all around Northland) are some of the best I have...

Spydertrader Thanks for the reply - incredible. There are few people who are as polite, thoughtful and intelligent as yourself. A true professional. Regards

Svrz and Spydertrader I posed a question and thought both of your replies a little antagonistic. Why would I post my full screening criteria and exact entry criteria? While I 'love' everyone it is in noone's best interests if we all buy EXACTLY the same stocks at exactly the same day...

Arent you buying too late Spyder re: waiting for the stochastic to get high? I use a 7, 3 fast stoch and buy only if below 50 (and price moving up, volume triggers also). I have enough stocks in my watchlist (55) so that I dont need to buy things that have already broken out of their base...

I did an analysis of very fast run ups over the last year in a watchlist of 45 CANSLIM stocks. The run-up averaged 7 days with a range from 4 to 16 days, before having a down day. How did I measure 'fast run-ups'? Where the stock absolutely exploded - and went at least 20% with no down days...

Spyder How do you deal with comm, and how much do you pay in comm? I have calculated I would spend about 25% of my account in a year on comm if I turn over my 5 stocks every week, so have to slow it down.

Hi Spydertrader: Dry-up: Have you found any method works better than simply eyeballing for volume breakout from volume dryup, with volume dryup being eyeballed from historical pre-breakout levels? This assumes EOD trading and not looking at first two hours trading. For a living: You say...

Thanks Spydertrader. You write thoughts that are well thought out. There are some spectacular people on Elitetrader - Im sure if many of us met each other we would be surprised how well we get along - intellectual curiosity/decisiveness etc - similar traits. Regarding dry-up volume -...

Spyder: In your results list, it seems you get out of stocks very quickly. Your largest gain is 10%. I know we have a 6-8 day cycle but there are many stocks in Hershey type lists that have gone up 20% in a couple of weeks. I use a tight trailing stop, as I have found that I used to get...

I got burned on CNTY today - doubly burned as on 2:1 margin. Stop order to got hit at open, which was unfortunately the low of the day. Anyone: 1. Are you doing the Hershey system on 2:1 margin (PS: I can only trade end-of-day)? 2. Do you use market stops or manual exits (remembering end...

The main point was the focus on continuous compounding. That is obvious but so few people do it. People wait till they have a 'sure thing' or they fear being fully margined, or whatever. The concept of considering stocks as CAPITALIST MACHINE PARTS and replacing them whenever they get...

Hi Spyder I havent read all of your thread as it is very long, but have read all of Hershey's posts on this and other forums (took about 3 hours a day for a couple of months). I was developing a stock system VERY similar to Jacks before I found out about him. His thoughts lifted my system to...

TerryL: I would love the world to be free of sickness and hate, and have permanent very interesting and well paid jobs for everybody, and no divorce. I thiink you are being too soft - as the world is not like that, it is a mix of shitty and divine and nice and bad - heaven is the only perfect...

    Gambling?

TerryL, there is not a simpler explanation - unless you are being sarcastic. There cant be one world currency as that would not relieve any pressures. Economics is all about supply and demand. If there was one currency it wouldnt take into account different governments' interest rate changes...

    Gambling?

Floating currencies relieve pressures in the system when exports/imports unbalanced. Anything fixed goes against the natural order/equilibrium - think fixed prices in communism.
