For my style of trading anyway-- it is so much easier when the momentum boys come out and play. Anyone catch TZOO today? Perfect example of momentum being back. Market is flat and you get a great little run on a pos stock like that. Long live momentum ....even if it only lasted a few days.....

Man no offense, but all you guys trading for a nickel ruin some great moves for traders like me who look for a point at least in each trade. I'd hate to trade all day running around chasing nickels. But that's just me and I know there are thousands of ways to make a living in the market.....

I was actually not looking for any advice-- this is just time for me just to mostly sit in cash and wait for the big boys to come back in september. low volume augusts usually suck for my kind of trading system. anyway, as i said, not looking for advice, was just curious if anyone else...

As I said, it's probably great for scalpers looking for pennies and nickels but for traders looking for a couple points at the minimum, this is tough going.

Of course there are always opportunties in the market and every day people make (and lose) money. I'm mostly a swing-trader, closest style would be to Daniel Zanger's style, and for tha tkind of trading, I'm just not finding much to do. As I said, not losing any, but sure as hell not earning...
