i haven't put in a trade yet today. not sure what oil is doing, but it's moving pretty choppily. i agree though IV, definitely going to look for a short if we can get close to 50.00

i'm stubborn and i don't like to be wrong. it's horrible for trading i know, i'm trying to stop having opinions about what the market SHOULD do. i'm cashing out at 49.50 here. shouldn't have let it go so far against me though.

Short heavily (2 cars lol) avg price 50.08. this up move is way over done. is it time to drop back yet? edit: out and in again. b/e for the day at 50.16. holding on, i really can't believe we're up this much. equities haven't moved in 1hr +

maybe it's a friday and i'm too laid back, but the market is going wild and i don't want to gamble. i will try a short before market close though, if we reach the high again.

I was looking at that... i shorted over an hour ago as i saw ES dropping and got out with a little profit. Oil seems to move around quite a bit from about 6-9am, so i wouldn't be surprised if we tested 50.00 before the open. We've seen rb/ho and equities dropping these past 2 days, and yet...

hey span, good to see you're still around. i try not to look into the future too much with oil because it seems to be a slave to stocks right now. and stocks are getting to be choppy. i'm getting scared from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, and tend to stay out of it now. i think it's for the better...

ah crap, missed the main move down. the first move down i didn't see much increase in volume, which explains the large retrace. looks like people waited till the 2nd move down to really drop this market.
