    eSignal

I believe that esignal has started to sell a competing package to wizetrade which is based on their GET studies. They're doing seminars and a mentoring program to sell it. I've never been a fan of the red light - green light style of trading, but it's worth a look if you're interested in that...

    eSignal Suggestions and Improvements

I have esignal and IB and can do this in several different ways. They have an order ticket that you can attach to a chart for single click orders, and I have several formulas that I can make trades with. One places several buttons on the chart. The first button fires off a market buy, the...

Globex 3m Eurodollar futures on eSignal

As far as server vs. system wide, it seems like esignal doesn't isolate servers with different feeds like some other vendors do. If the problem requires any fix on their end, it would most likely be system wide. I'm not aware of any way we can point ourselves to one server or another. If...

    Sporadic Connectivity @ eSignal

I'm getting real time updates and interval charts, but not history charts. I can trade on this, but would rather have all my charts working. Cheers, Paul

    sneaky E-Signal

I gotta say that I feel sorry for ProphetX. You just started using them and are all happy for now, but we all know that it won't take more than a month before you're flaming them as well. I can't wait until next summer when I see a post on a ProphetX thread where you tout some feature or...

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

I went to the website and clicked the Try MultiCharts button to sign up. I got an automated email immediately with the info for using the software. If you signed up the same way, maybe the email was flagged as spam and you didn't see it. I'm not that impressed with the application other...

I will NEVER! Use Esignal Again!

Nice things about forums is that we can agree or disagree. I disagree with your reply, but it's just my opinion. Esignal makes no guarantee for the data, but agrees to provide you with a service. This is no different than an ISP which agrees to provide you access to any data you need to...

I will NEVER! Use Esignal Again!

What would you have expected from your internet provider if they were the ones who went down and not esignal. Do you think they would credit you a month? Of course not. They might give you a day's credit, but would probably figure out what you pay for 3 hours and only give that back to you...

    Esignal outage

I always wonder why people think that they lost money by not being in the market on days their data vendor is down. Having 2 vendors helps keep you in business, but I wonder how many upset traders actually came out ahead by not making bad moves on the down market? Esignal may have just saved...

    Esignal outage

I don't think that's much of a threat since I'm sure the folks at esignal would love it if you went to a competitor. I use esignal as my primary feed, but as many others have pointed out, the fact that I had a backup saved me any heart aches. I limited my trading today since I didn't have...

    Esignal outage

Not much time left in the trading day, but I'm completely back up with quotes and charts. I logged back out and in to be sure everything could still connect and it did come right back up the second time. Cheers, Paul

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

Oh right !!! You and the Gods made this happen to punish esignal for their one dollar increase.

    eSignal RAISING FEE'S AGAIN!!?!?? WTF

I wish I could get worked up as much as you over something like this. Do you curse the gas station attendant over the continuing hikes at the pump? I figure all my expenses as a whole and work it out to a price per transaction for my level of trading. With the cost of commission, cost of 2...

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

I know I'm probably egging you on which is the last thing I really want to do, but can you please just leave esignal and go find another vendor to subscribe to, and then complain about them? I'm very interested in hearing about the positives and negatives for the products I use, but the...

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

I'm torn here. I use esignal and would like to see continued improvements for the individual trader, but also own quite a bit of their stock. From a business standpoint, I'm glad they're spending their time developing to the bigger clients and going after the global market. Paul

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

So should I take it from this comment that even though you seem to hate esignal, it's currently the best provider out there and in you're opinion, the best provider out there for the past 3 years??? Sounds like that's why they keep winning awards to me. Thanks for the input. Paul

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

Thanks for the info. I set up a 500V chart on the mini and made some arrows on a large portion of the screen which pointed to the high and low points of the bars. I left it running for about an hour and then refreshed the chart. 5 of the bars now had a high or low that were 1 tick off, but...

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

What type of intraday volume are you talking about? I haven't noticed any problems myself, but may not be looking as closely at volume as I should. I'm addicted to their EFS, so can't see leaving esignal, but want to understand if there's a problem with volume that I should be aware of. Thanks

    Explorer vs Firefox

What type of pages do you guys go to? I just run a basic IE, have McAfee, and run Spybot occasionally. I've never had a problem with spyware or viruses. I do make sure to get all the latest patches for each app, but this thread is making me worry that there's more danger out there than I realize.

    Esignal's NYSE open book

I think their documentation is out of date. Openbook started as a 10 second snapshot and then went to a 5 second snapshot in 2004. NYSE says they're eventually going to a realtime version, but the spec for that product has been around since mid 2004 and there's been no real word on when/if it...
