Congrats saxon as you have broken even(at this point).....I know you make living this way, but you will break someday. don't say you got unlucky when it happens......but i've seen you saving yourself by doubling/trippling down before, so maybe luck is on your side.

Don't start trading until your business starts to generate enough income. Read some trading books meanwhile. there should be bunch of threads on books to read. check it out.

I agree. Gov't shouldn't be directly involved in any mkt. Now our govt is the biggest owner of AIG and GM. It's a gamble. In order to make this work, our govt HAS to manipulate the mkt. It's messed up. It's probably giving out benefits to major banks behind shut doors to make this work...

of course, whatever i say has nothing to do with how it trades in the mkt.

I think we would've been better off now had fed not bailed GM, at least to the point of $50B. Face it, GM had no hope. bankruptcy was inevitable. Worst thing you could do to a gamling addict is to lend him money.

I'm bitter as a citizen. As a trader, I made few bucks on GM. so I'm content.

bottomline is that GM is still the same shithole business that can't sell any cars. It was trading around $0.30 on OTC BB. It got rid of most of its debt and ...............tada! we're a new company. pay $35/share now. WTF Sad thing is that our shithole govt and major banks are in this...

how is it risk free return? Part I don't get is why all the big boys want to own this........or are they just setting the stage for a massive sell-off tomorrow?
