How much do you REALLY make trading?

I prefer to describe it as a curiosity to see what silly explanations he will keep piling on. Every time he adds something to his explanations/descriptions it becomes more entertaining. If this guy were on Law & Order, Briscoe would be saying, "Hey, you've been yanking our chain from the start...

how did you do when first started trading

I scalp too. I'm not averaging $2,500 a week this year (that's for sure), and yes $10g a month is very good (especially this year). However, I still believe that, especially now, there is more money and potential in swing trading than scalping (and that's all I was saying).

how did you do when first started trading

Have I read it? I thought it hadn't been released yet? In any case, as I said, his TEAMMATES say the guy is a regular liar and/or imbelisher, and that he lied about being drunk during the perfect game.

How much do you REALLY make trading?

Actually, making $15 g consistently (weekly) in 2003 with the leverage, style, tools and experience he describes is close to impossible.

Wow, you and Sam Walton are sooooooo down to earth! :)

How much do you REALLY make trading?

While I was the first and have been the most active in saying that Marc is full of it, and although I am many years older than 22, I do have to say that in the right market, with an exceptionally talented 22 yr old, with the right tools (leverage, equipment, etc), and a bit of experience, there...

how did you do when first started trading

I don't have an opinion on that one way or the other. I just don't believe that you make $15g a week, consistently, in 2003 trading stocks on 3 hrs sleep (especially for scalping you need to be very alert) from home with one monitor and a cable modem in a $100 g or whatever it is retail account...

    Trading times for Friday

In all fairness, it is true that if someone doesn't want to read about these predictions, he or she doesn't need to read the thread. After all, its not like Walt snuck his predicition in on someone else's thread. He made it clear exactly what this thread was about.

how did you do when first started trading

Its true, especially nowadays, that this is where the best money is. The ranges are bigger, and the commissions are lower.

Now that would be an interesting poll.

how did you do when first started trading

Exactly. If you get 3hrs sleep a night and use only 1 monitor, and have little experience and start trading at 22, and if you aren't watching the markets 1/2 the time even though you're not doing anything cause you dropped out of school, you too can make $15 g every week! :)

Looking for a new firm to trade at

Very true. People who are top traders (and insiders) with this kind of consistency have a pretty good idea what kind of deals and companies are out there!!

How much do you REALLY make trading?

Trust me, if I believed you made that, I WOULD BE jealous (in a friendly way). Since I don't believe it, I'm not.

Does any firm offer a good gross payout these days??

Even among firms I heard that consider doing gross deals, the payout is much lower than 20% (and commissions tend to be higher while net payout tends to be lower).

Ambiguous because ON THIS THREAD you didn't say which way the market would go. As for the rational, you posted it already (but after I'd asked).

What is the rational for your ambiguous prediction?
