I find it interesting that the politicians on both sides talk about cutting spending and trimming the deficit. Yet one of, if not the largest source of government spending (defense) is apparently unaccountable. How do you balance a budget if you don't know what the real budget is? I go back...

Choppy going here so far today, I switched from one minute chart to five minute to cut down on the noise.

Covered ES short @ 87.50 +3. Looks like the 80 level is a possibility here soon. Nice vol spike on the downward move.

Short ES @ 90.50, target 87.50, stop 93.00. Entry signal was @ 91.50 but fat-fingered the limit order. :eek:

Stopped out @ 89.50 -2.50.

Long ES @ 92.00, target 95.50, stop at 89.50.

Covered ES short @ 88.00 +3. They ended up trading through 87.50, but I felt I should cover and not risk three handles over two ticks. :p Now time to look at the long side of things.

Short ES @91.00, target 87.50, stop 94.50.

Currently looking to sell a pullback to 91.50, target will be 87.50, stop 94.50.

Nice bounce off the 88.50 level, went low enough to flush the long stops. Now time to go for the upside gap??

ES has a small gap to fill from yesterdays RTH close at 97.25. Seeing us move to that level before further downside. May also need to retest the 90 level to flush the stops from the overnight session. Looks like a tricky start...

Sounds good, volume definitely picking up as it went below 1209. Expect a retrace to ~1210-11. Better make a decision soon. :) I'm out for now. See you folks later.
