As others have mentioned... Say u make it long enough to have kids... She will completely put them first and constantly worry ...can u handle that? I am still shocked (kids 12 and 14) how much time , energy she gives the kids.

Wow... You took my thoughts and feelings re this subject verbatim and then some! Sadly even for good people finding true happiness is elusive and difficult. I am one who considers the marriage and family doing ok..but boy this is far from easy (near 20 yrs) its still possible my wife and kids...

Are you smoking some serious shit? Renters by definition do not have the money or wherewithall to buy a property to live in. The landlord is essentially a savior to them..for that the landlord gets a slight premium if things are working properly. Please note communism failed and now socialism...

August's always suck for me, either too much vol or too little. The first week i did real well(i'll post monthly at some point) In any case going to be vacationing last two weeks + of august..so little trading. Good luck guys , gonna spend some gains here for a couple weeks!

hey deedee, not assuming...simply curious...market neutral stock in of themselves cannot be what earns you in tail events? are you saying you have no net long vol during panics..? i would never talk my edges here but i do find it hard to see what can produce outsized gains in russian default...

Yes , that sums it up well..although in my case i use a futures curve in the same way you describe.

I am always long vol where tail events can hit the most and of course short vol in the back ends...despite my handle, lol. finding that right mix does take years to master I will admit.

it was easier to bet on a drop of vols than market direction.
