What's the best pre-market screening site

Trade-ideas seems like a very useful software. Does anyone have any feedback about this stock screener as far as speed, accuracy and stability? Can it be used in conjunction with a black box system? It's pretty reasonably priced.

GOOG: Bubble or This Time It's Different?

Google is an awesome company with legitimate growth prospects. If there's any stock to think about shorting, I'd seriously look at Ebay. Google plans to seriously challenge their market dominance with their new Craig's list/Ebay hybrid model and they are coming up with their version of paypal...

Is it easier to trade the NYSE than the Nasdaq?

I agree with the previous post. NYSE moves are generally cleaner and easier to scalp compared to Nasdaq moves (on liquid stocks). There is just way too much "noise" on the bids and offers in Nasdaq stocks and it gives me a headache. For position trading, however, the noise is not important.

I won $50,000 on poker simulations on the internet! It's the EXACT same thing as playing with the pros with real money so why bother risking my own cash? After all, I'm a risk-averse money manager! I'm the shit man! DO NOT MESS WITH THIS BAD ASS MOFO!!! Nuff said! Why are you all...

    Questions about prop firms...

Absolutely right. If an active full-time trader can make 100K in this market, then he definitely knows what he's doing. The hardest part is being consistently profitable. Once you can consistently make money, the only difference between making 100K and 250K and up is increasing your trading...

    AVERAGE JOE (trader) .... links

Adam and his gang used to trade at E*Trade Professional/Tradescape/Momentum Securities. I'm pretty sure he's still there. He used to smash chairs and keyboards every other day whenever he had a bad trade.

Q: Why doesn't Michael Jackson compete in races? A: Because he likes to come in a little behind. :p

The mounting death toll in Iraq: When does the public say..."enough is enough"?

The REAL bottom line is this: America was frustrated by its failed efforts to combat Al-Qaeda and make Bin Laden pay for 9-11, so the Bush Administration created a phantom threat in Saddam Hussein. He's an Arab and he's bad so he's the next best thing to Bin Laden. Bush claimed war...

The mounting death toll in Iraq: When does the public say..."enough is enough"?

Sorry, John Q. Pubic hair, but I didn't volunteer to become a soldier. But I would have no qualms about serving my country. Wise ass.

The mounting death toll in Iraq: When does the public say..."enough is enough"?

In Vietnam, more than 58,000 Americans lost their lives. At the height of the war, 500 soldiers were being killed each week. In the Iraq war and the subsequent occupation, we have lost fewer men to hostile fire than in a single terrorist attack in Lebanon in 1983. We've been losing about a...

The mounting death toll in Iraq: When does the public say..."enough is enough"?

A soldier's job is to be placed in harm's way, if necessary. Our commander-in-chief is the one who gives the marching orders, even questionable ones. It's harsh, but possible death goes with the territory and every soldier understands that.
