Extremely profitable statistical edge but no money to exploit it?

Noobs tend to confuse trading with investing. For investors, they believe in "staying" in the market and holding their positions. For short term traders, volatility risk/timing are most important.

Extremely profitable statistical edge but no money to exploit it?

btc should have no problem going to 1 million

Why stop at a million? Price movement of any asset is supposed to be determined by supply and demand. Without a true centralized volume like an "honest" exchange to "silently but fairly" gauge overall supply and demand e.g,stocks, what's stopping the crypto market maker (or A.I. monkey) from...

4 reactionary choices on a price movement

Great imagination but real traders usually only have time to backtest whole systems just to filter out what does not work. Backtesting may not really tell what actually will work. You need some time to forward test it as well. To breakdown so many components to backtest is a fantasy.

4 reactionary choices on a price movement

Say you enter a long position at some arbitrary level. Then you set a trailing stop to be triggered after +100 points and a stop loss at -100 points from entry level. However, the price went up to +80 points and then decline back to near breakeven level. What would you do now?

    Reactionary vs Forecasting

Sounds like a variable change-Monty Hall question on the part of the player/trader in which case reactionary would be better. But the real question is does the market maker know ahead what is his next move in making the price up or down? If he does not know, then it becomes a Monty Fall scenario...
