    Managing multiple positions

Does anyone trade multiple positions? like 30 - 100 different open positions? If you do, how do you efficiently manage them? There are several very successful traders at Worldco who does this but, of course, they won't tell me their secrets. I do know they have both long and short...

    Open Break Plays

Re: Larry Wiiliam's stop-loss method - the fixed $ amount.. If it is set at max loss of $500, and you are long 1000 shares, that is 50 cents loss. If you entered a position at $50, you would set the sell-stop at $49.50. If the stock is at $51, is your stop STILL at $49.50? No trailing...

    Breaking Open Price

On the long side, many people buy a stock when it opens, trades down or gap down, then trades back up to the opening price. Many buy the stock at that opening price. Assuming the market is trending up as well, what other criteria would you look for besides just the price? Other technical...

About to give it up after 3 years of trading

Above statement is probably one fo the biggest misunderstood concept in money management/trading. If you stopped when you reached $500, you'd be broke veryquickly because you have to somehow make up for the down days. If you are good enough to have 50/50 days, and you had the discipline to...

Pro Frims are all about what?

I'll tell you one huge advantage of trading at a pro(p) firm: If you blow out your capital, you can still continue to trade and get paid at pro(p) firms, unlike retail. This all depends on your relationship with your firm, of course - but it's really one thing: what is the bottom line? If you...

    The first 30 minutes

I quit trading at 11AM. 99% of my money is made first 30 minutes of the day. Then I return to do MOC, if any. And even that has sucked last year or so...except during quarter ends and S&P changes....So, yea - first hour is THE opportunity for me.

    Lynx Capital Partners

There are other aspects to consider as well. I know of an Andover sub-LLC in LA area that offers 100% payout but you can not trade if you dont have any capital...so in that sense, they are similar to a retail shop except you get much higher leverage and better tech/software services probably...

    Lynx Capital Partners

Everybody is so confused....You wont get any info about their sub-LLC's directly from Andover. Every sub-LLC has its own deal with Andover so what they can give you is going to differ. These sub-LLC deals usually work in one of 2 ways: 1) The founder(s) gets an override from their group's...
