Looking for good remote prop trading firm

Has anyone looked into Nevis Trading, they advertise here on ET but they are based offshore presumably to avoid tax/regulation issues.

Any recommendations on where to start?

Dont buy any crappy software systems that promise 80% accuracy, none of them work. There are some good posts on trade2win.com which will get you started.

Indicators are liars! Support and Resistance Trading for the S&P emini

ES, Just came across your posts, the levels look great when combined with my own entry rules, thanks for posting, any plans to do the same for other contracts like the YM or Bund?

Indicators are liars! Support and Resistance Trading for the S&P emini

The collectiveC2 website tracks automated systems, most are rubbish but a few seems to work. http://www.collective2.com/cgi-perl/reports.mpl?report=hotlist&type=olefaithful&session=079543421811776258032781128464855...

ctenisdead, Will it be all office based or do you envisage having remote traders as well?

    TCA Markets

Just as a matter of interest what remote deals have you seen elsewhere that are as good or better? I've been looking around and have seen a lot of deals where you need to deposit some of your own money and the payout is less than 50%, plus in some cases youre expected to cover your losses...

This idiot has thicker skin than Cramer?

How can anyone be in business if they have been mostly losing money for 5 years? Even the returns from their best performing funds are lower than the interest you get in the bank. Who on earth invests with them?

Good luck with it, I hope to do a bit more research when I get back from holiday.

    trading on member rates

TCA are still offering something along those lines for futures, they say they will allow other instruments in certain circumstances. Maybe the London office could advise you better. My understanding was that this deal is not that great if you have a proven track record and do high volume.

Looking for good remote prop trading firm

Do you offer futures and if so whats the minimum volume per day?

    TCA Markets

Me too, which is why I havnt signed up with them. I still may do but the criticism has to be taken into account. As I said its always a risk when you purchase something trading related as a lot of vendors are crooks and there isnt really a way to know in advance.

    Prop in Boston?

Does Bright Trading or anyone else facilitate remote trading ie trading from home or elsewhere through the prop firms systems? I have only found one company (TCA) that offers this but as most prop firms websites are pretty basic I'm sure there are others that do but dont advertise the fact.

    TCA Markets

Its £2995 at the minute as far as I know. Some companies are charging that for a weekends training in the UK. Thats not to say TCA is better but if youre going to throw 3k away it would appear to at least give you a better chance of success especially as they are providing you with some decent...

IN THIS THREAD: IronFist learns (the elusive) PRICE ACTION

Havnt read the whole thread so maybe this has been mentioned before but I used some methods of PA taught by James16 on forexfactory and on his own website. I found them to be of limited use on their own but when combined with other methods such as stochastics, S&R and HA candles they are...

    Any chart for crack spread?

I've read a lot about CQG, it seems to get good reviews here although at over $600 a month I'd like to think it was good. I have Tradestation at present and trade the e mini YM and am looking at trading the Bund and BOBL in the near future. Tradestation hasnt given me any major problems but...

More downside action for crude - to test $50

How do you configure VP to NOT read the other markets? If you can prove this I can see no reason why you/we couldnt take legal action. After all that would prove once and for all that it doesnt do what it claimed to do.

More downside action for crude - to test $50

Vantagepoint is complete rubbish, the neural index is just some sort of average of previous days prices. I was able to replicate it with over 90% accuracy using simple division in excel. I'm sure I could get it 100% accurate but what's the point as its useless in any case. Interesting that...
