I made the mistake of trying to get a straight answer from that place also. SKETCHY!!! Level 2 windows on ensign windows are currently fucked up and don't refresh properly, so I have been unable to precisely watch how my fills have been through IB, but the ones through primex were not out...

That was my experience with ensign DDE/excel. When the ES mini moved fast, all the bids and offers weren't transmitted successfully to excel, and during this test run, I was definitely sending very few symbols to excel, definitely less than 20. I'll try it with IB...today's expiration day anyway...

Sometimes I can log in, sometimes I can't so it's definitely not my browser settings. As for logging in early, I'm not going to spend the effort every day, since IB hardly ever goes down across the board for naz. If I am in a position and IB goes down, I'd rather just hedge with options...

I sent them an e mail as well. They wrote me back saying that they were in the middle of a move and it would be a couple weeks more before things were back to normal, but this is business. If they can't cut it, I'll find someone who can. I mean, have you ever heard anything more pathetic...

The NYSE said over one year ago that they would have the book open by last summer. June, I think. Having the book open kind of defeats the purpose of having the specialist. My guess is that it will quickly evolve into being just like level 2 from naz, with the same games that everybody plays...

I would like to connect two PC's together in order to transfer relatively large files (500mb-1gb) between them. They both have standard 10/100 ethernet cards - can I connect them to each other with a standard network (patch) cable? Or do I need to buy additional hardware to accomplish this?
