No. It's electronic. The specialist has no control if you want a bad fill. You wanted electronic fills, you got them. He can't turn the NYSE+ off because of a locked or crossed market of another exchange. Remember, it's his market not the other way around.

You would be right if: a. you were a big client. or b. you had a better broker. I've seen brokers make errors and they eat it (the broker) because they have great customer service and they want to keep the client happy.
