hi michael, seems to me that you would be spinning your wheels with the stop and reverse feature? my point being that if your initial direction was off and you got stopped out re-entered the market you could very easily become a victim of the intraday phenominon of low volatility price...

there is no such thing as "slippage" on a limit order. a limit order is your price or better or you are not filled at all. the only way you would be slipped on a limit order would be if you were placing a stop-limit order and your stop price was different than your limit price.

mr savant, have you considered that you are simply achieving the same results as other pivot point mechanical systems? I see no real advantage of the entry points other than quick scalps but you will see that if you used that strategy this morning on the ES you would have been stopped out...

there is no slippage on a stop-limit order if both the stop price and the limit price are the same. its either your in the mkt at your price or better or not at all. that is why i use stop limit orders on the nq and es. cant do that yet with the ym you gotta use regular stops.
