what did you think about trading off the 5 min ..? I'm not trading yet, just watching and papertrading....today, the 29 th was a tough day to make a profit with my setup. one trade was too close to call so I didn't take it and it would have been a nice 4-5 point trade. ended slightly down...

I didn't know they traded futures....

I don't know why but futures brokers, unlike stock brokers are not upfront about their commissions, extra fees, minimums, inactivity fees ect.... In my attempt to locate a backup broker I have realized they like to bait and switch . Shady bunch to sat the least... Quite frankly I'm getting...

I'm also in favor of some type of auto liquidation system but the user should be able to opt out.... I was curious if anyone was using stops...? All this talk about being at ther mercy of the market is getting me nervous.... I know they are kept on the IB servers but I would hope...

Anyone see the surviving the market segment on CNBC today... They had a 90 year old man who trades rydex funds with the help of a program called Manoco or something like that. Has made about 200 % in 2 years... Anyone have any info on this software ...? NKNY

The only program I could find was moneymaximizer. Great concept but would not recommend the program, I had problems runing it on both my systems at one time or another. Once it crashes it couldn't restart ...nightmare.... Also no real time .... But again , great concept... Nick

Why can't I find software to help in position size and trade management. allot of written material but no real time software... Skip the real time , anything, delayed ...just software to aid in this .

Pointdirex has added a 14.99 software fee for it's level 1 platform. I have my own quotes and charts... Looks like this the new trend, Ib went this way with it's 10.00 a month fee. I don't trade as much anymore, so I just need a place to park my account with a trade here and there...
