Like others have said there are many way's to invest in real estate. One of the best ways that I have found is by forced appreciation.... redeveloping the land with a bigger and better structure that is worth more then your expense of acquiring the old structure and building costs of the new...

Redsky is supposed to be ok with shorts as well...so Ive heard...They clear through SWS or if you deposit 30,000 or more you could have your account clear through ML... I was going to try them but they do not have basket capability built in to their software yet....And I Cant see my self...

Yes....you can't be tall and short futures in the future...however I think they will be changing that in the near future so if your not short and and would like to short futures....just wait for future changes they will be here shortly...

No ....the uptick was only removed for these stocks... http://www.sec.gov/spotlight/shopilot/currentpilota41305.txt And the uptick is for shorts only..... when you buy first and sell 15 min later there is no uptick because you are not shorting then ...you are simply selling a stock you...

If you buy a 1000 share of ABC and sell 15 min you are not shorting.... Shorting is when you sell a stock you don't have and try and buy it back for less then you sold it for.... Nick
