I already purchased the Dell 17" monitor. It was 15% off for tonight only, deal is probably off now. I paid about $250. Probably would have ended up paying around $300 without the discount. So not a bad deal I'd guess.

I rebuilt my computer 3 times, but never once touched the monitor. This thing only goes up to 60hz. It's a Compaq CV535. It sucks :) Which is why my eyes suck too.

I have a feeling that list did nothing good for you, but what it did just do for you is put you under pressure and will infact make you a worse trader. I tried the same exact deal and it did not turn out so pretty.

Today was checking out the YM. Lagging at least 2 seconds behind my CQG Trader platform charts. WTF is going on with Esignal???? I pay over 100 bucks for this program, so do many others. Damn, I hate big companies that screw their customers. I hope in the future there are more options...

10 months here. I have not yet made it. I need to work on it to make it happen soon, otherwise trading will be a part-time thing. I'd say an average of 2 years to possibly become consistant is a good average. No big deal though, just stick with it! :)
